Tell us about your summer internship.
I am interning at Medical Decision Modeling out of Indianapolis as an Intern Research Analyst. I am working on dossiers and systematic literature reviews for many pharmaceutical companies, including Eli Lilly & Company.

What’s one community organization you’re proud to be a part of?
I am proud to be a part of Self-Healing Communities of Greater Michiana, a coalition focused on building resilient communities. I work as a NEAR Sciences (Neuroscience, Epigenetics, ACEs and Resilience) Intern for them and do neuroscience illustrations.

What’s something you’ve created recently?
I have been recently working on illustrating my second neuroscience children’s book in collaboration with a Columbia neuroscience graduate student author (Emma Bleakman of Zionsville, Indiana). We are collaborating with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai out of NYC.

What makes you proud to be a Hoosier?
I love how when out of state people visit, everyone comments on how nice everyone is and how the sense of community is strong.
