About Lilly Scholars Launch
At Lilly Scholars Launch: A Welcome & Celebration, you’ll hear from notable alumni Scholars, learn more about the Lilly Scholars Network, get to know other Lilly Scholars, and enjoy the outdoors summer camp style retreat.
All 2025 Lilly Scholars are invited to attend Lilly Scholars Launch at Bradford Woods on July 25 & 26 for a fun-filled 24 hours. This opportunity is free to Scholars thanks to the generous support of Lilly Endowment Inc.
What to Expect
On Friday, we’ll start with ice breakers, eat dinner, and settle in to hear from our speakers. Afterwards, you’ll have time to roast s’mores, play yard games, and hang out in your cabins before you call it a night.
On Saturday morning, you’ll choose your own adventure: zip lining, canoeing, yoga, t-shirt tie dying — and so much more. We’ll end our time together with lunch and an opportunity to learn more about the Lilly Scholars Network and opportunities available to you through it.

Cabin Leaders
In addition to Lilly Scholars Network staff being onsite at all times, Collegiate Scholars from around the state will serve as Cabin Leaders during Launch. Cabin Leaders will lead new Scholars in icebreakers, participate in activities, stay overnight in cabins with Scholars, and share about their own experiences in small group discussions.
Collegiate Scholars — we’ll open the interest form in Spring 2026.
About Bradford Woods
Bradford Woods is Indiana University’s Outdoor Center located in Martinsville, Indiana. For over 65 years, Bradford Woods has provided recreational, educational, and leadership development opportunities to youth and adults locally, nationally, and globally.
