“In being a self-motivated life-long learner, I am able to be curious, explore topics that pique my interest, and gain new and interesting perspectives from others every day.”
What’s one community organization you’re proud to be a part of?
College Mentors for Kids which is a mentorship program between elementary and college-aged students. This has been one of the most fulfilling things I have done in college because it has enabled me to not only support underserved students, but it has allowed us to provide activities that inspire growth, confidence, and brighter futures for the students.
What’s one way you’ve been able to give back to your community?
One way I have been able to give back to my community has been through volunteering for Medical Supply Drive during the global pandemic and PPE shortage. Through this organization, I was able to help close gaps in underserved communities and medically marginalized areas in Central Indiana by working closely with other volunteers to donate PPE to healthcare facilities in need.
What motivates you?
I am motivated by having the ability to never stop learning and absorbing new information and knowledge. In being a self-motivated life-long learner, I am able to be curious, explore topics that pique my interest, and gain new and interesting perspectives from others every day.
